Welcome to Stafford & Surrounds Clinical Commissioning Group which comprises 14 GP Practices situated across Stafford and the surrounding area. We provide GP care for 135,000 patients and endeavour to provide quality services for the diverse community we serve.

GP Commissioning is about engaging GP Practices in the commissioning of services as Practices can voluntarily receive a budget from their PCT to purchase healthcare for their registered patients. This allows frontline clinicians to become more involved in commissioning decisions providing better clinical engagement, better services for patients and a better use of resources.

Stafford & Surrounds Clinical Commissioning Group is holding its Annual Conference on Tuesday, 26th June 2012 at The Chase Golf Club, Pottal Pool Road, Penkridge, Staffordshire ST19 5RN.

The day will start promptly at 8.15am with Breakfast and Registration followed by the Welcome and Introduction at 8.45am. The Conference will focus on the progress made to date with the Authorisation Process and implications for CCG. The event will consist of workshops, presentations and group activities.
